Zoe Rwanda
Louisburg United Methodist Church partners with Zoe Empowers to support vulnerable youth and child-led families in Rwanda. Rather than providing short-term aid, Zoe equips young people with the training, resources, mentoring, and community support they need to become self-sufficient and break the cycle of extreme poverty. Over a three-year program, participants develop sustainable businesses, improve food security, access education and healthcare, and build strong support networks within their communities.
LUMC is honored to sponsor the Abunzubumwe ("Unity") Mukindo Empowerment Group. Through the generosity and prayers of our congregation, we are privileged to walk alongside these youth as they work toward lasting independence.

FIRST YEAR ACTIVITIES & ACHIEVEMENTS
- This first report contains specific information on group activities and what business and food security achievements they have realized because of their involvement in the program.
- This second document provides an overview of the past year's activities - the trainings they have attended and the resources they have received. The multiple areas of Zoe interventions are covered.
- The final piece of this first-year report is a family profile video so you can see an example of how these activities and accomplishments are already transforming the lives of the young people in your group.
