LUMC is committed to caring for our congregation before, during, and after severe weather events and community disasters. As part of this effort, we are creating a confidential registry of homebound members who may need additional assistance following an emergency. This information will be securely maintained by the church and used only to help guide our response and ensure the safety and well-being of those who may be most vulnerable.
If you know a homebound member who may benefit from being included, please help them complete the Individual Needs Survey and return it to Pastor Tuck. We also encourage individuals to complete the Emergency Paramedic Briefing Form to keep in their home for emergency responders. (This form is for personal use and is not collected by the church.)
We are also compiling a list of members who are willing to share equipment, tools, or other resources during disaster response efforts. If you are interested in participating, please complete the Equipment & Tools Survey Form and return it to the church office.
For more information, please contact Rev. Monica Beacham or Glenn Martin, President of the United Methodist Men, at (336) 932-7353.
