Louisburg United Methodist Church is in the process of creating a database of our homebound members who may need special assistance in the aftermath of a severe weather event or disaster impacting our community. This information will be kept in a secure place in the church office where it can be readily assessed by the church Pastor to help guide church volunteers responding to severe weather events and community disasters. Should we be faced with such an event, our first priority will be to assure the safety and wellbeing of our homebound members.
Please assist the church in this important effort by reaching out to our homebound members whom you may have a trusting and close relationship with, and see if they would like to be included in the listing of members that might need special assistance in recovering from a major weather event or community disaster. If so, we ask that you assist the homebound member with the completion of the Individual Needs Survey (see button below) and return it to Pastor Tuck. The Emergency Paramedic Briefing Form (also included on a button below) is not intended to be information collected by the church. It can be used by homebound individuals in their homes to aid emergency medical responders in any emergency.
For additional information about this project, please feel free to contact Pastor Tuck, or Glenn Martin, UMM President, at (336) 932-7353.
In the last two weeks, we have had survey forms in your bulletin and newsletter for those with equipment and tools that could be used in the event of a severe weather event or community disaster. If you would still like to fill out that form, you may access that on the button below, as well. You are encouraged to fill it out and return it to the church office if you would like to participate in that.
