Children are a gift from God, and here at LUMC, we strive to provide our children and youth with a firm foundation in faith, a Christian community of love and belonging, and a welcoming environment in which to grow spiritually.
Sunday School: Weekly Sunday School from 9:45 - 10:30.
- Elementary Children, ages 6-9, meet in a room on the 3rd floor of the Education Building with Brittany Young
- Children, ages 3-5, meet in the Preschool Classroom near the elevator with Lindsay Daniel
- Children, ages 2 and under, meet in the Nursery near the Sanctuary with Ariel Currin
Nursery: is available during the 11:00 a.m. Worship Service for children ages 5 and under.
Kid's Connection @ LUMC: A monthly mid-week gather of learning and fun! Some of our past Kid's Connection events include: Back-to-School Bash, Fall Festival, Thanksgiving Feast, Christmas Theater and Party, and more. Vacation Bible School: VBS at LUMC is a BIG DEAL! Summer 2025 we welcomed over 50 children, who came together to experience Camp Firelight and learn about putting their trust in God. We can't wait for Summer 2026! Our church facebook page will be posting information as early as Spring 2026.
