DESCRIPTION:For many years\, we have helped to welcome new teachers to Fran
 klin County. Because their training now takes place at Franklinton High Sc
 hool\, we have delivered a bagged lunch for them to enjoy. Included with t
 he lunch is a letter of welcome and invitation to our church\, especially 
 to Open Table\, and a Wal-Mart gift card. We normally have from 40-55 new 
 teachers. With support staff included\, we typically feed about 100. Our d
 ay to serve lunch is Wednesday\, August 13th. We would truly like to conti
 nue this tradition! \n \nYou can help make this a success by helping in a
 ny of the following ways:\n\nIf you would like to make a monetary donation
 \, you may place it in the collection plate on Sunday\, or leave it in the
  office. Checks need to be made to LUWF (Louisburg United Women in Faith)\
 , and designated "New Teachers." All money collected will be divided equal
 ly among the teachers\, and gift cards purchased. Donations must be receiv
 ed by Sunday\, Aug. 10th.\nIf you like to cook\, we need 9 batches of Brow
 nies (for dessert)\, 12 brownies per batch. If you could cut and individua
 lly wrap them\, that would be fantastic! They are needed by 6:30 p.m.\, Tu
 esday\, August 12th. Call or text Nancy Fenske (919-495-8193) if you are i
 nterested.\nWe will meet Tuesday night\, August 12th\, at 6:30 p.m.\, in t
 he church kitchen. We will make sandwiches and assemble the bags. With lot
 s of help\, it shouldn't take long. Come and join us!\n\n \nGod calls us 
 to welcome the stranger. Let us show these new teachers our LUMC hospitali
